Privacy Policy

This policy covers the GTOLens website (gtolens.com), the GTOLens Omaha strategy viewer (plo.gtolens.com) and the GTOLens Hold'em solver (nlh.gtolens.com). The short version: we run a static page, a read-only strategy viewer and a solver that computes in your own browser, and we collect as close to nothing as a website can.

No accounts

• There is no registration and no login — we never ask for your name, e-mail or any other personal details.
• We show no advertising pixels and run no fingerprinting.

Analytics

We use two analytics services to see how many people visit, which pages they read and where they arrive from: Yandex.Metrica, operated by Yandex, and Google Analytics, operated by Google. Each acts as an independent data controller for the data it collects; its processing is governed by the Yandex Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy respectively.

• They set their own cookies to tell repeat visits from new ones: Yandex _ym_uid, _ym_d and similar, Google _ga and _ga_*.
• They record page views, referring site, approximate location derived from your IP, browser and device type; Yandex.Metrica also records which elements on a page get clicked.
• Session recording (Webvisor) is switched off. We do not record your screen, your mouse movements or the contents of any strategy you open.
• Inside the Omaha viewer, the address of a strategy you opened is sent with its identifier replaced by a placeholder, so the file you loaded is never identified to either service.
• In the Hold'em solver, the spot, ranges and board you enter and the solution stay in your browser — the services see which screen you are on and where you click, never the hands themselves.

You can opt out with the Yandex Metrica opt-out extension and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, by blocking mc.yandex.ru and googletagmanager.com in your browser or ad blocker, or by disabling JavaScript. The site and the apps stay fully usable in all three cases.

What stays in your browser

The app remembers interface preferences — such as your chosen language and recently viewed spots — in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us, and you can wipe it at any time by clearing site data in your browser.

Server logs

Like virtually every website, our web server (nginx) writes standard access logs: IP address, request path, time, browser user-agent. We use them only to keep the service running and to protect it from abuse. Logs are rotated daily and deleted automatically after 14 rotations — so a log line lives for no more than 15 days.

Outbound links

The app may show clearly marked sponsored links to third-party sites. If you follow such a link, the destination site's own privacy policy applies — we receive no data about what you do there.

Changes

If we ever start collecting anything beyond the above, this page will say so before it happens, and the "Last updated" date will change.
