Privacy Policy

This policy covers the GTOLens website (gtolens.com) and the GTOLens web application (plo.gtolens.com). The short version: we run a static page and a read-only strategy viewer, and we collect as close to nothing as a website can.

No accounts

• There is no registration and no login — we never ask for your name, e-mail or any other personal details.
• We show no advertising pixels and run no fingerprinting.

Analytics

We use Yandex.Metrica to see how many people visit, which pages they read and where they arrive from. It is operated by Yandex, which acts as an independent data controller for the data it collects; its processing is governed by the Yandex Privacy Policy.

• It sets its own cookies (_ym_uid, _ym_d and similar) to tell repeat visits from new ones.
• It records page views, referring site, approximate location derived from your IP, browser and device type, and which elements on a page get clicked.
• Session recording (Webvisor) is switched off. We do not record your screen, your mouse movements or the contents of any strategy you open.
• Inside the app, the address of a strategy you opened is sent with its identifier replaced by a placeholder, so the file you loaded is never identified to Yandex.

You can opt out with the Yandex Metrica opt-out extension, by blocking mc.yandex.ru in your browser or ad blocker, or by disabling JavaScript. The site and the app stay fully usable in all three cases.

What stays in your browser

The app remembers interface preferences — such as your chosen language and recently viewed spots — in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us, and you can wipe it at any time by clearing site data in your browser.

Server logs

Like virtually every website, our web server (nginx) writes standard access logs: IP address, request path, time, browser user-agent. We use them only to keep the service running and to protect it from abuse. Logs are rotated daily and deleted automatically after 14 rotations — so a log line lives for no more than 15 days.

Outbound links

The app may show clearly marked sponsored links to third-party sites. If you follow such a link, the destination site's own privacy policy applies — we receive no data about what you do there.

Changes

If we ever start collecting anything beyond the above, this page will say so before it happens, and the "Last updated" date will change.
